Croatia

In September 2004, we spent a week in Croatia cruising around the dalmation coast on a 41ft yacht with some Australian friends. Each night we visited a different island, with lots of sailing and swimming during the day. One of our favourite places was the blue grotto. You paddle in through a tiny hole in the cliff face (first photo below) and the water is an amazing intense blue.
