We only did a long weekend trip to Cologne. There was really no reason for going there except that the flights were really cheap. We had a great weekend. Neither of us have ever had any particular desire to go to Germany, but it is so like home - well apart from the fact that there are huge cathedrals and everyone speaks German! All I can say is that anywhere that has a chocolate museum is a winner with me. They also have a cable car in Cologne that goes across the Rhine, right over the nudist section of the local pool.
