| Katie visited Hong Kong and Macau as stopovers on her way to Australia at the end of 2005. Hong Kong is very modern with lots of high rise on the mainland and Hong Kong Island. However, Lantau Island is very rural with fishing villages and lots of trees. Macau is a mix of Portugese and Chinese and is a big gambling centre, with lots of casinos near the port. | ||||
